Join us for a long weekend at this club favorite resort!  3 nights lodging at the Quattro hotel & Conference center including free breakfast buffet each morning and a "Welcome" pizza party on March 12th.

Downhill skiing at Searchmont resort for skiers of all abilities. Plus premium cross country and Snowshoe trails at Stokely Creek & Hiawatha Highlands. Drivers will be needed so be sure to indicate whether you are willing to drive on your registration.

This year there is an opportunity to combine the Searchmont Weekend trip and the Marqette trip since they are "back-to-back" on the calendar. You can choose to drive from Searchmont on Sunday the 15th to Marquette Mi for 2 more days of skiing on March 16 - 17 or return home on Sunday the 15th. Please register for one or both trips separately on the website.

Marquette Mid-Week Trip

March 15 - 18, 2026

Come ski the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! Marquette Mountain is a great downhill ski area. Choose to stay two or three nights at the Comfort Suites hotel - 2 queen beds per room. Group discount makes trip affordable:

2 nights $158 per person  (includng taxes & fees)

3 nights $208 per person  (including taxes & fees)

There is also cross-country and snowshoeing nearby at NTN trails.  

Add on the Searchmont weekend and make it a week of skiing.

Downhill and X-Country / Snowshoe trails available at Nubs.

Après Ski in Nubs Pub and head over to Side Door Saloon for dinner. (can change if anyone has another option)

    CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN SKIING INFORMATION — Monday March 23, 2026

To WMSC members and friends: Join the ski club for a day of skiing at Crystal Mountain on Monday March 23, 2026.  Members and guests are welcome. This trip is for both downhill and XC skiers and boarders. 

We are meeting at Post Road ( Drive) NE Carpool lot and 131 expressway at 8:00 AM for our journey north. Your other option is to just meet the group at the ski resort instead of carpooling.  When you register please indicate this on your reservation.  See question on the bottom of the registration form.

Join us for a few days of fun camping and paddling July 16-18, 2026. Just 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids!  DETAILS ON FLYER BELOW

Camp reservations:  Reserve online through Sandy Beach newaygocountymi.gov (pick Sandy Beach option) or call 231-689-7340 off season or 231-689-1229 starting May 1.  The Oakes Cabin is where coffee/bonfires and Friday night potluck will be.

Please register here for equipment rental (if needed), group campsite (if preferred), or simply attending.  This gives us a headcount.

If you want to just go canoeing/kayaking on Friday, that is fine also. Optional dinner out Thursday night 7:00 pm place TBD.

Registration  Potluck this year will be entirely of items brought by attendees, so no charge for food.  Rentals of Kayaks are $35 and canoes $50.  Rustic group campsite is $30/site for two nights.  If canoeing with two people, one will register for attending and canoe and the second person for attending only.  Ditto if two people sharing the Group campsite.
