For the April 10th Happy Hour please join West Michigan Ski Club members for beverages, food, and socializing.  Bring your friends that may like to join the ski club.  Here is a great opportunity to meet new friends and just plain enjoy the early evening to start the weekend.

We'll be meeting at The Rio Grand Steakhouse for Happy Hour.             

Look for our West Michigan Ski Club banner outside the back room of Rio Grand Steakhouse 5501 Northland Drive NE, Grand Rapids  - be sure and stop by. 

Annual General Membership & Board Meeting

Agenda will begin with brief annual reports by Board Members, followed by open input from the general membership including any nominations for the ballot to elect Board Members for 2026-27. This is your chance to ask questions and make suggestions for next year. A normal Board Meeting will follow where general membership is welcome to stay or leave.

Lets get together to celebrate Spring and see what Trips are being planned for the next season. Members, guests and non members are welcomed. Please pre register so we may have a number for the food caters.

Join us for a few days of fun camping and paddling July 16-18, 2026. Just 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids!  DETAILS ON FLYER BELOW

Camp reservations:  Reserve online through Sandy Beach newaygocountymi.gov (pick Sandy Beach option) or call 231-689-7340 off season or 231-689-1229 starting May 1.  The Oakes Cabin is where coffee/bonfires and Friday night potluck will be.

Please register here for equipment rental (if needed), group campsite (if preferred), or simply attending.  This gives us a headcount.

If you want to just go canoeing/kayaking on Friday, that is fine also. Optional dinner out Thursday night 7:00 pm place TBD.

Registration  Potluck this year will be entirely of items brought by attendees, so no charge for food.  Rentals of Kayaks are $35 and canoes $50.  Rustic group campsite is $30/site for two nights.  If canoeing with two people, one will register for attending and canoe and the second person for attending only.  Ditto if two people sharing the Group campsite.
