On Monday Sept. 7, 2026 the W M Ski Club golfers and friends will be heading South East to play at a fairly new course for our group ! The Legacy Golf Course in Hastings, Michigan.

Where golf is fun and everyone is welcome! The Legacy at Hastings is a wonderfully maintained championship course that is open to the public. The course has been in existence since 1921 !

There is a slight possibility that we may be following a Labor Day Scramble Group. There will be an email that comes to you with tee times and groups on Sunday night so stay tuned !
SENIORS ( 60 +). 18 HOLES + CART =. $ 53.00
9 HOLES + CART = $ 34.00
ADULTS. 18 HOLES + CART = $ 59.00
9 HOLES + CART. = $ 38.00
These are higher rates ( unlike last year) since they are charging the weekend /holiday rates in 2026..
Many of you have requested this course again this year. Hopefully we still get a good number who want to come.
After Golf: I tried a couple of places. They did not think the cook would be at the golf resort on Monday. I also tried for the recommended Walldorff Brew Pub and Bistro but they are not open on Mondays. The Seasonal Grille was also not open on the holiday.
I checked with Chris Hoffman ( one of our skiers from that area ). She recommended : Good food and service !

The downside of Applebees is that I could not make a group reservation. We can meet on the deck of the golf course where we can get hotdogs, brats, and sandwiches along with beverages. We can decide if we want to go to Applebees or just stay there as a group. Let me know if you want to go to Applebees after our deck meeting at the course. You can just put it on your email when you sign up for the event.

If 9 holes — let me know if you want front or back nine. Hint : The back nine is a hilly and harder course. Challenging but beautiful !
I went out of town a little to find a good place to play for reasonable prices on a holiday — last year.We found that place for this coming Monday at the Legacy . They gave us higher rates for a holiday weekend.
So grab a friend or family member or come alone to have some Labor Day fun. We may even get some of our worker bees to come and golf with us as it should be a day off for them.
So if you are not busy on Labor Day — JOIN US !

These are higher rates but this course was requested by some of our golfers.
After Golf: Logans Roadhouse on Canal Street in Grandville.
Now that most leagues are done, you will see that we may have 2 adventures on some weeks as it is fun to golf in the fall when the temperatures are a little cooler. We are busy still using The Channel 13 cards for some courses, going to some of our favorites , and trying out some of the courses you have suggested to get to if possible. Let’s hope our weather cooperates for us through September, October, and November so we can experience more of the courses.
