W M Ski Club Travel Golf Adventures -- Monday July 27, 2026 -- Chase Hammond Golf Course -- Muskegon Area

Hi and welcome to all the WM SKI CLUB traveling golfers and friends:

On Monday July 27, 2025 the traveling golfers and friends will be heading west and north  to play at Chase Hammond near Muskegon.  Address:    2454 Putnam Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445 course phone:   (231) 766-3035  

The golf course is off of I 96 West exit 118, U S 31 N and M 120.  

This is a course that is fairly new for our group and has been recommended for the last couple of years.  We played this course last year and loved it !  Plus it is a course with lots of shade for a warm day.  The prices are right and it is always fun to try a fairly new one for our group.  Hopefully we  catch a few of our lakeshore members and friends to join us for the day.

Our seven tee times are at :    11:00   11:08    11:16   11:24    11:32      11:40 11:48

The Senior Rate is  $ 33.00 for 18 holes and a cart ( 61+)    $ 24.00 for 9 holes and a cart.  This is the same rate as we played at for the 2 last years.  It is refreshing to find rates that stay the same !  The Adult Rate is the same for all using the senior price !  Good day to bring your younger friends and family.  They gave us the lower rate due to our return trip and the fact we played at their sister course Winding Creek too !  They have offered us a great price and it is a great course near our Lakeshore.  It is worth the drive.

Note:  This course honors the First Tee Card for $ 35.00.  That is more than our price for the day so you may want to save that for another day on a weekend when the price would be higher.

After Golf:    Lefty & Romos Bar and Grill — Good homemade food. — Good variety. They have a deck on the back.  1985 Holton Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445.    (231) 744-3222. It is 1.7 miles from golf course.

Please inform Shirley of your intentions to play by Sunday evening at 7:00 PM  so we can make tee time adjustments if needed.  Please try to sign up earlier as it is easier to get people in groups when I can still reach the course on Sunday night.

Please indicate if you are playing 18 or 9.  Reservation time is a little earlier this week as this course has requested that we give them our numbers earlier as they sometimes close golf desk early on Sunday night depending on customers.
